Sports Together is a program by the Hudson Oral History Project to collect interviews with community members about the role of sports in their lives.
As part of Sports Together, we will be organizing and participating in a series of local sports-focused events to collect interviews with community members about the role of sports in their lives. This program is part of a larger national effort called By the People: Conversations Beyond 250, which was developed by the Federation of State Humanities Councils and the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage. We were selected as one of the groups representing New Jersey by the New Jersey Council for the Humanities.
